Easter WIW

Feelin' Nutty Pup. Family gatherings seem to bring it out in me. They're either the perfect venue or crazy making ;)

Exit now if the idea of really fake looking crazy eye foxes around your neck disturbs you. Or long furry snake bats. I think they're supposed to be foxes. But the noses are weird... Is there such a thing as a needle nose furry snake bat fox?

Haha! I love it. Great Easter duds!

Ha, your foxes are creepy but awesome. I wouldn't want to wake up to find them staring at me though. Hope you keep your closet door locked. ;)

Love your fuzzy coat too. Happy Easter.

Haha! They've actually been hanging on the outside of my door, looking at me all night while I sleep. I'd be more disturbed if they didn't look like cartoon bats dressed in cotton balls...

Those foxes are perfect for Easter.  They will scare the Easter Bunny.  Add some long furry "rabbit ears" to them and you will scare little children :)

  • Karie replied 9 years ago

Well I don't think I would want to wake up to those foxes looking at me, but they sure do make for a super fun and quirky outfit!

  • Jaime replied 9 years ago

Did you use your wrap as a weapon? Or to poke yourself awake? Or are they more a quiet threat?

    Great easter outfit.

Absolutely love, especially the contrast of the foxes against the red houndstooth skirt. Reminds me of Coach's new look for Fall 2014

  • Gigi replied 9 years ago

Neat outfit! I like how you combined so many different textures and patterns in one outfit. That is not easy to do and still have it look good. Happy Easter to you!

  • rachylou replied 9 years ago

Hehe. It's fun to wave them and scare old people with fashion craziness!

Anna, I have to go look at Coach 2014 now. I haven't really liked them in a long time, but they caught my attention again this Spring!

Definitely a conversation piece! I would keep that hanging at a window as a theft deterrent! :)

That type of fur was popular when I was a kid..."stone martins"...sometimes we'd sit behind someone in church who was wearing them and I would be fascinated.

  • CocoLion replied 9 years ago

Your outfit makes me smile and feel inexplicably happy.

  • rachylou replied 9 years ago

Must look up stone martins! I've heard that term before. But guess I can't scare the kiddies with it without the bunny ears Joy suggests :) Drat! Work!

Happy is good! That makes me happy, Denise! :D

I think you just created a new species. That out fit is serving post apocalyptic for days.

  • rachylou replied 9 years ago

Look out zombies! Cotton ball snake bats!

  • Lyn D. replied 9 years ago

Only you could wear a fake dead animal and look Fab :)

  • Astrid replied 9 years ago

Agree with Lyn D. Crazy, but it works for you. :-D Have to say though, the idea of having these staring at me gives me the creeps.

  • Style Fan replied 9 years ago

I agree with the above.  You do the fake dead animal look so well.  I love the different textures.  It all works.

  • Jjsloane replied 9 years ago

Scary fun. I have a stole of my grandmother's that has a head. I just can't bring myself to wear it, but you rocked it for sure.

  • replied 9 years ago

Love it! I adore the red hounds tooth next to the ivory and the foxes are a hoot!

  • Angie replied 9 years ago

HAH. You are QUEEN QUIRKY WAIF.

  • rachylou replied 9 years ago

I'm a Queen! Woo hoo! Lol.

Well, Lilypup *is* a corgi (mutt ;))

  • Keturah replied 9 years ago

    So so lovely!! You're adorable!

Honestly, Your fake fox stole doesn't make me shiver at all. I have a real fox stole I wear. Most people are curious, only a few go "Eww!" I love fur, especially real vintage furs.

I say, wear the fur and get the reactions. As long as it doesn't involve paint or soda or dirt being thrown at you. Then run and duck.

  • rachylou replied 9 years ago

PETA attacks here. You seriously want to go through the back door at Neiman's at Christmas. Even fake fur is risky. It's like the way they're gunning for e-cigs after the cigarette bans now. The thing about this all is... so you may be, *Great! Cigarettes are nasty!* However, smoking weed and burning incense is encouraged - so you still have to stop, drop, and roll.

    It's very arghhhhhhhhh!

    But I digress... ;)

Oh, and I'm sorry everyone for saying 'weed' on the board. This is such a nice place. Should I delete this post?
